Hand pruned and harvested
Our vineyard is located less than 4kms north of the city centre of Mount Gambier on Bishop Road.
The vineyard was planted to Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon on 1996 and extended in 2004 in include small areas of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Pinot Gris and additional differing clones of Pinot Noir. The vineyard is on a sheltered north facing slope on dark loam soils overlaying clay and limestone.
The grapes are grown on a VSP Trellis system, the vines are hand pruned and harvested. We grow and produce White Pinot, Pinot Noirs, blended reds and sparkling wines.
Chardonnay and Pinot Gris are sometimes sources from nearby Kongorong and Shiraz comes from the Wrattonbully Wine Region, north of Coonawarra.
Our property is family friendly (including dogs), there are games for children to enjoy along with getting lost in the hedge maze.
